I fell in love with travel at the age of 19. For the first time in another country, for the first time by plane, in America, for 4 months. A kind of student experience, which would open my appetite later, for everything that means adventure, new people and cultures.
Catalin is the expert in finding the best airline tickets and I hunt for the best combo quality-price hotels or airbnb. We are a great team and in this formula we ended up exploring more than 30 countries ’till now.Â
Together we ate scorpions and crickets in Cambodia. We paid more for parking than for gas in California. We lost our tuktuk in Siem Reap. I stayed with Airbnb in Brooklyn for $22, but we also tried a fancy mansion in Mallorca. We ate crocodile in Vietnam. We were disappointed that the balloons did not fly in Cappadokia. We felt like dwarfs among the Sequoia trees. I spent a whole day on camel in the desert in Israel. We took a boat ride at 3 in the morning on Mila 23 and stayed on a floating hotel. We visited Paris for free, being under 26 years old. We did canoe-ing in Ha Long Bay and then, already professionals, we repeated the experience in the Algarve. We relaxed in a beer spa in Prague. And the most important, we won friends, in all these beautiful places.
